Step by Steps Instruction to Apply for Smart Ration Card/Family Card Through Online in TamilNadu.
STEP 1: Go to the official website of Tamilnadu Public Distribution(TNPDS) – www.tnpds.gov.in , www.tnpds.com
STEP 2: Click Now “Smart Card Application” under the USEFUL LINKS section as represented in the image below.
STEP 3: After clicking Smart Card Application link, an application form similar to given below will open & fill all the necessary details in to it.

STEP 4: After filling all the required(Fields marked with *are mandatory) information in the smart card application form,
upload the residence proof of JPG, PNG or GIF format. You can upload pdf, png, gif, jpeg and pdf files under 100 KB size.
After completing all the information, click on the “Submit” .
STEP 5: After submitting your smart ration card application, you will get reference number which will help you track the status of your smart ration card application.
